Kurd move
If you're moving valuable possessions, or any of your belongings, from one place to another, you don't want anything to get damaged on the way. Interlocking the flaps on your moving boxes simply isn't strong enough. High quality packing tape, applied to the seams of the box, minimizes the chances of anything falling out of the bottom. Boxes are available in different sizes and qualities. If you're packing heavier items, inquire about heavy duty boxes at your nearest box store.
Fold your box into shape, and close all of the flaps. Set the box on the ground so that the bottom of the box is facing up.
2
Apply tape along the center between the two opening flaps. Make sure to extend the tape about half way down either side of the box. Start on one side of the box, extend the tape over the center opening and down the other side, advises the Direct Moving Boxes website.
3
Apply tape along the two edges of the box perpendicular to the center join. Make sure that the tape runs straight down the middle of the edge, evenly covering both sides.
4
Run your fingers firmly along all of the tape to make sure it is properly secured to the box.
5
Flip the box onto its bottom and you're ready to get packing!
6
Use the technique outlined in Steps One to Five to tape the top of your boxes shut once you have finished packing. This will help to secure your belongings during transit.
